colourless shade
02:43
|
|||
a colourless shade
paralysing and without a visible end
weakening voices
entire swarms of them
no ground, no limbs
but some entities
there is more than one consciousness here
none with special properties
rather like a lot of empty plastic bags
there is nothing to see
and nothing to believe
faith... what a load of crap

time is a line
05:03
|
|||
every start contains its own end
and once, when the ending starts
it will be denied
until the avalanche hits
there was never a point of return
time is a line
it can be straight
or lurch from side to side
it can't part
and it can't be turned around
and there is no way
to step aside

a quiet hum
03:04
|
|||
what you said
is now the background noise
in my days
your laughter
now dwells in the light hours
we have seen through all this before
through all this
i'll send you
some cigarettes tomorrow

final magnetic field
06:46
|
|||
friends were here
for too short a time
it gets emptier and emptier
slowly things become pale
like a lightless afternoon
strangely dark and lonely
a razzle slides into syllables
it makes its way
and dresses itself in shining words:
IT IS HERE
the final magnetic field
sticky, busy...
a warning is heading for my chest:
don't flirt with the darkness,
death is around here

the sentence
03:12
|
|||
a completely white sentence appeared
in a bright white environment
at first i was uneasy about it
i tried to understand
then i began to see
a thought formed out of the white:
there will be no lingering here either
then a new idea:
why not, actually

who is the one
who leads me to the shore
to the shore of uncertainty
is it all me
is it all me
in there
who is the one
who consumes me from within
if i don't pay constant attention
is it all me
is it all me
in there
who is the one
who tells me: wrong time
wrong time my friend, wrong time
is it all me
is it all me
in there
who is the one
who says: wrong coordinates my dear
my dear, wrong coordinates i fear
is it all me
is it all me
in there
is it a special union
an association
which - of course - leads to ruin

the shape of your heart
05:26
|
|||
what is the nature of your heart
how does your heart behave
does it dream
what is the shape of your heart
what is the shape of your heart
is it heart-shaped
or more like a bullet

the headphone exhibition
05:09
|
|||
look at the things
things that have been made
in particular those
that are man made
some suggest to you
that they were made
for a practical purpose
others reveal the intention behind them
only after a longer contemplation and reflection
and there is a special group of things
even touching and worrying about it
will not get you anywhere here
you already know which group it is
it is the complex of the A R T S
sculptures, paintings, poetry
let me exclude
almost all kind of music and novels at this point
the most of them were made with a clear purpose:
entertainment
back to the A R T S
what is the reason,
what the benefits?
merely to make money?
to become famous?
to refer to facts in a language that is difficult to understand?
to name, to point out certain aspects of human existence?
simply to have fun?
i conjure up the image of a headphone exhibition
the headphone exhibition
all the exhibition pieces are behind glass
you see different shapes and materials
you can study the information panels
but you can't listen to anything
there is nothing to listen to
what you are left with is your imagination
of course, only if you are willing to get this far
A R T is a meaningless, dispensable thing
on the other hand, A R T can create an ease
that is otherwise only known from intoxicating drugs
for both, the author and the recipient
it is the most independent language of all
and it is completely useless
in almost every way
visiting the headphone exhibition from time to time
is a good idea
we can say it's an important experience
at best the headphone exhibition clears the way
and opens the door
to extended disobedience

a single dim light
chair, table,
pen, paper
time starts to dissolve
expanding night
shades increasingly fade
sounds become perfectly clear
certainties of the day on hold

am i the visitor
18:57
|
|||
are we visitors
are we the visited
did i welcome you here
did you make time for it
and if so, what for
can you name the cause
the cause for our presence
here at the same time
and if we had and have
a connection
to each other
what is its nature
why you and me, here
are you my personal advisor
am i the visitor
are there fixed roles
is one of us in charge
am i a visitor
are you my personal advisor
were we, you and me
invited here
have we been brought here
or are you my personal advisor
am i a visitor
did you come here
to meet me
did i come to entertain you
have you been waiting here
to give me advice
is there something
that you really remember
is there anything at all
are we visitors
are we the visited
did i come as a visitor
is one of us in charge
is there something
that you really remember
are we visitors
are we the visited
are you my personal advisor
did i come to entertain you
is one of us in charge

tumbling leaf
02:54
|
|||
a tumbling leaf
a beautiful picture
peaceful and quiet
the picture as a whole
is dignified
the leaf itself
at the mercy of the elements
it has also something playful about
as long as it turns
i will focus on the leaf
as long as it spins
i will focus on the leaf

why not dance
03:57
|
|||
when you feel lonely sometimes
and you don't know
what to do with your precious time
there is a simple, easy option
take a music track like this
listen to it once or twice
in its entirety
than gently begin to feel the music with your body
move your arms and legs a little
according to the music
do not injure yourself
if you perform your movements
in a confined space, for example
try to identify the rhythm
now it's time for you to come out of your shell a bit
just become a bit more expressive
drink a sip of water to avoid dehydration
now we can call the matter by its name
you are dancing
i wish you good success and much pleasure
with your new leisure activity
if you feel like a different rhythm
or even a melody
why not try another piece of music from time to time
now you have all the skills it takes
you are a dancer
i would like to say goodbye for today
enjoy your privacy and dance well
why not dance
why not dance
why not dance
why not dance
why not dance

seabirds
03:48
|
|||
what do you see
when you stand at a small harbour
dusk has already fallen over the bay
there are only a few final clean-ups left
the seabirds are full and almost silent
remains of seaweed and shell fragments
the flavours of the tides
the breeze freshens
an old woman with a bag in her hand
looks out onto the moving surface
the waves roll in
what do you see
before you leave
for a warm glass of tea
